How much HDR10+ content is available on Amazon Prime Video?
HDR10+
HDR10+ Advanced
Amazon Prime Video has been an HDR10+ streaming platform since December 2017 — the first streaming service in the world to deliver HDR10+ content to subscribers. The scale of that commitment is total: “All of Prime Video’s HDR-enabled content has HDR10+ capability and metadata,” said B.A. Winston, Vice President of Technology, Amazon Prime Video.
In 2026, Prime Video extended that commitment further by becoming the first streaming service to launch HDR10+ ADVANCED — delivering Enhanced Overall Brightness and Intelligent Motion Smoothing to subscribers on supported Samsung displays. Prime Video customers worldwide now have access to thousands of movies and series in HDR10+ ADVANCED, including Prime Original series and films such as Elle, Fallout, Off Campus, Project Hail Mary, Reacher, Ride or Die, The Boys, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and Spider-Noir, along with licensed titles available in select countries and territories.
To find HDR10+ ADVANCED content on Prime Video, look for the HDR10+ ADVANCED badge on a title’s detail page. Playback requires a compatible display and streaming device — together with the world’s largest HDR10+ streaming library, this makes Prime Video the flagship reference platform for HDR10+ content delivery.
